Cinder awoke from her 4 little pups nuzzling her to go on another adventure. Being the alpha female wasn't that easy for Cinder, and it wasn't the pups. The Shadows Pack was nearby their pack, making it a struggle to survive. Her older son, Henki had gone on a hunt last night but hasn't returned. Cinder began to worry. Trying to put her worries behind her and believing that Henki would return, she hugged her pups tighter and said "it`s to early. Henki will return with food, then we can play after we eat." She nuzzled her pups to sleep then walked over to her husband, Echo. Her orange pelt began to shake when she went to tell him the news. She shook his snow white pelt gently then he woke up. She put on a serious face and said "Henki is missing."

Echo looked up at Cinder when she gently woke him. He woke up quickly incase it was an emergency. Cinder said Henki was missing. Echo was confused. He thought he would have been back by now. Echo stood, shook the snow off and replied to Cinder,saying," Cinder, you need to look over the pack. I will go after Henki and track him. You can lead the pack for a few hours right?" He licked her cheek and ran into the forest near them and sniffed the ground for Henki. But he smelled elk. Good sign where Henki is. He ran in the drection and howled for Henki to hear.

Silence. A howl distrubed the sience soon. Walking away from the river, a rich black wolf with bright yellow eyes walked to the Silent Symmentry pack. Zorro was his name. He hoped for food, as he was quite thin, his father and mother leaving him when he was 6 weeks old. Now he was a teen and wasn't doing well. He howled for acceptance to come in the territroy to join. He waited silently for a responce.

Cinder nodded when Echo had told her to look after the pack. After a few moments, she heard a howl of acceptance. She didn't dare leave her pups, so she beckoned the Chief Beta, Meno. When Meno arrived she told her to go to the new wolf. Meno did as she was told.

When Meno met Zorro she said "Welcome to the Silent Symmetry Clan! I am Meno, the Chief Beta. And who might you be?"

Zorro looked on the horizon as the sun was rising to peak at all the activities during this day. He had waited a couple minutes and a wolf. At first he thought she was the Alpha, but shortly after she said she was a beta. Zorro looked up at Meno in the eyes and said,"Hi, Meno. I'm Zorro. I wish to join this pack. Um, but first, do you have any food?" He looked at his thin stomach as he asked to show why. He would tell later why, but right now, it was about getting accepted and joining.

(I was wondering if there could be a new rank, but if not, I completely understand. Smile

The barely weaned pup shivered as she curled up in the hole under a tree. She didn't know that she was nearby Zorro and Meno. She could feel the ice forming on her pelt. She let out a low, depressed whine.

Zorro heard the whine and looked behind him to find a pup laying in a hole of a tree. He walked over and grabbed her by the neck carefully. He looked around and decided to keep her as his own. He didn't know what had happened to her parents but he would give her love.

Quest opened her eyes, the movement from being picked up getting the ice off her pelt. "Hey! Who are you!" Despite being young, she had a pretty good vocabulary.
